THE Red Arrows delighted residents of North Wales yesterday afternoon (August 11) as they flew over the region as part of their RAF Valley flypast.
This was part of the RAF's aerobatics team's RAF Shawbury to North Wales, and then to Lincoln, flypast, for the late afternoon and evening yesterday.
The Red Arrows were seen over the Great Orme of Llandudno at about 4.20pm, and from Conwy Morfa beach, before arriving at RAF Valley in Holyhead for their display as part of RAF Families Day.

RAF Valley said: "A big thank you to all who made our Friends and Familes Day special.
"Thousands have been raised for military charities and despite the high temperatures, everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.
"Some terrific displays, some pretty unique like the North Wales Police Drone, the Irish Air Corps and the Miles Magister.
"And of course, one can never tire of watching the seemingly effortless excellence of the Red Arrows, the Falcons, or listening to the sound of Spitfires and Hurricanes."
The Red Arrows are to return to North Wales later this month for the Rhyl Air Show during the bank holiday weekend of August 27-28.
The aircraft will stay at Hawarden Airport overnight, with displays at the show confirmed for both dates.

The show will be backed by a strong RAF presence this year, and as well as the Red Arrows’ appearances, it will also have displays by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Grob Tutor.
