A MAN from Colwyn Bay has been banned from the roads and fined after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving in the town.
Michael Booth, 49, of Grange Road, was accused of driving a Vauxhall Astra vehicle on Grange Road on March 3 with 136 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 3.

Mr Booth was disqualified from driving for 10 months.
The court also fined him £576, and ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a £58 victim surcharge.
This amounted to a total of £719, which he is to pay in monthly, £100 instalments from August 17.
