A MAN from Rhos-on-Sea has been banned from the roads after he was found guilty of drink-driving in St Asaph.
William Jones, 19, of Brompton Avenue, was accused of driving a blue Ford Fiesta vehicle on the A525 on June 13 with 62 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Mr Jones pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 3.

He was disqualified from driving for 17 months, though this will be reduced by 17 weeks should he complete an obligatory course by July 5, 2023.
The court also fined him £120, and ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totalled £239, which he is to pay in £30 instalments from August 17.
