A MAN from Llandudno has received a conditional discharge and a fine after he was found guilty of possession of an item discharging noxious liquid.
Scott Brickles, 25, of Church Walks, was accused of possessing a cannister containing PAVA spray in Bolton on May 18, 2020.
Similar to pepper spray, PAVA spray is considered far more potent than CS gas, while its propellant is nitrogen.

Mr Brickles gave an indicated guilty plea at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on July 5.
He received a six-month conditional discharge, and is to pay a £22 fine by August 2.
