A MAN from Colwyn Bay who was found guilty of threatening behaviour and criminal damage to property has received a suspended sentence and a restraining order.
Nicholas Dean, 45, of Old Colwyn, was accused of exhibiting such behaviour, and of damaging a door belonging to Rhea Scott, at a property on Erskine Road, Colwyn Bay on April 22.
He pleaded guilty to both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on July 11.

Mr Dean was ordered not to contact Scott or David Royales by any means whatsoever, or enter any property occupied by Scott, until July 10, 2027.
He also received an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
The court also ordered Mr Dean to pay £250 in compensation, and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This made a total of £335, which he is to pay as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made by the court for deductions from Mr Dean’s benefits.
