Steve Bailey had approached the Lions Club in Flint asking if they would help sponsor a defibrillator for the North Wales league, which consists of teams of players aged above 50 who play Walking Football.

Bryn Jones, from the Lions, said he was “surprised and impressed about the league, how it not only allowed people to continue to play football later in life, but how it created the opportunity for people meet up socialise and make new friends”, adding that the Lions were “happy to be a supporter of the league”.
