CONWY Borough players came face to face with a former Premier League footballer in their latest friendly.
The Tangerines travelled to St Helens to take on North West Counties League club Pilkington FC on Saturday afternoon (July 9).
That was where they met former Tottenham Hotspur and Wigan Athletic defender Pascal Chimbonda.

The now 43-year-old once earned a cap for France back in 2006 and made over 100 top-flight appearances during his playing days.
In an entertaining fixture, the game was 2-2 at HT after Borough were pegged back from 2-0 lead following goals from Conor Davies and Sean McCaffery.

Having then found themselves 3-2 behind, Borough remained positive and were rewarded with a 90th minute equaliser from Jack Parry Jones.
