A WOMAN from Colwyn Bay is to pay compensation and complete unpaid work after she was found guilty of assaulting a police officer in Gwynedd
Hannah Roberts, 35, of Ddol Ddu, Old Colwyn, was accused of assaulting PC Joanna Barlow by beating her on May 28 at Arenig Street, Y Bala.
Roberts pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on June 20.

She was handed 250 hours’ unpaid work by June 19, 2023.
Roberts is also to undergo four months’ alcohol treatment and complete a maximum of 10 days’ rehabilitation activity.
The court also ordered her to pay compensation of £150, as well as costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, making a total payment of £235.
