A MAN from Conwy is to face unpaid work and pay more than £150 after he was found guilty of assaulting two women.
Gareth Hughes, 69, of Bryn Gwynt Lane, Penrhynside, was accused of two counts of assault by beating against Sharon Beverley-Hughes, and one count of common assault against Melanie Beverley-Hughes, in Colwyn Bay on December 26, 2021.
He pleaded guilty to all three offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 25.

Mr Hughes was ordered to complete 40 hours of unpaid work by May 24, 2023.
He must also pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £95 victim surcharge, in full by June 22.
