A MAN from Colwyn Bay has been banned from the roads and fined after he was found guilty of drink-driving.
Samuel Taylor, 27, of Erw Wen Road, was accused of driving a BMW vehicle on Woodlands, Llandudno Junction, on November 6, 2021, with 76 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal alcohol limit in Wales is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Mr Taylor changed his plea to guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 31.

He received a three-year disqualification from driving, and was fined £189.
He is also to pay a £34 victim surcharge, and £400 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
This made a total payment of £623.
The court also made an application for deductions from Mr Taylor’s benefits.
