RYDAL Penrhos pupil Jonathan Osbourne made further strides in athletics by claiming first place in the 100m, in a meeting of North Wales and North West athletes.
The Year 11 pupil was represented Colwyn Bay Athletics Club at the event, held at Warrington Athletics Club, which saw young Osbourne test his skills in the 100 metres and long jump against other highly-touted youngsters from across North Wales, Cheshire and the North West.
It turned out to be yet another phenomenal competition for Jonathan, who rose to the occasion superbly well en route to a first-place finish in the 100-metre final, blazing a trail to cross the line ahead of the opposition.
