A MAN from Llandudno has been banned from the roads and ordered to pay in excess of £400 after being found guilty of drug-driving in Anglesey in a vehicle which had a tyre with an exposed ply or cord.
Fergus Snape, 23, of Ffordd Morfa, was accused of the following while driving on Victoria Road, Holyhead in a Mitsubishi vehicle on December 10, 2021:
• Driving with no less than 322 micrograms per litre of blood of Benzoylecgonine (BZE, a cocaine breakdown product).
• Driving while the rear nearside wheel was fitted with a pneumatic tyre which had its ply or cord exposed.
Mr Snape pleaded guilty to both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 16.

He received a 12-month ban from driving, but avoided penalty points on his driving record.
He was also fined £318, and was ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £34 victim surcharge.
This amounted to a total of £437, to be paid in full by June 15.
