A MAN from Llandudno was fined after he travelled by train without having paid his fare.
Jordan Sandland, 27, of Victoria Street, was accused of travelling between Llandudno and Llandudno Junction on November 23, 2021 having not paid his £3 fare and with intent to avoid such payment.
A guilty verdict was proved in absence at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on May 20.

Mr Sandland was ordered to pay a fine of £220, as well as compensation of £3, the value of the fare he failed to pay.
He was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and £180 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This amounted to a total of £437, to be paid by June 17.
