A WOMAN from Cowny has been fined and received points on her driving record after she was guilty of speeding last year.
Marian Parry, 72, of Cambrian Drive, Rhos-on-Sea, was found to be breaking the 30mph limit on the A470 in Glan Conwy in a Honda vehicle on August 3, 2021.

At Mold Magistrates’ Court on April 20, she was fined £100, as well as being ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and additional costs of £110.
This totalled £244, of which she is to pay £50 in monthly instalments, commencing May 18.
Mrs Parry also received three penalty points on her driving record.
She was also guilty of driving on that date and at that location with an expired licence, but no separate penalty was issued for this offence.
