And the torrential Tuesday morning rain didn't deter people from being the first customers to visit the bakery, as its café area quickly filled up and queues formed to try its range of sweet treats, pork pies, sourdough-based produce and more.
Visitors included volunteers from the Llandudno RNLI station, a woman who Ben delivered pasties to every Friday during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Ben's mother.
The Pioneer was invited to take a look inside the bakery - have a look below:
For their first day, the bakery is open until 4pm, but after a brief closure from Good Friday until Easter Monday, it will re-open for six days a week, Tuesday until Sunday, from 8.30am – 4pm.
Benjamin will be the baker and chocolatier, while Dominika will be running the shop and café.
With a staff of eight and a wealth of experience to draw on, all of the bakery’s products, are to be produced in-house by a team of professionals.
Earlier this week, Dominika told the Pioneer: “It has been our dream to introduce a real artisan bakery.
“Everything about our bakery is unique, including a sophisticated interior.
“Our breads are sourdough-based, cold fermented over a few days, and have only three ingredients - salt, flour and water.
“Our fine patisserie is on the highest level. There’s nowhere quite like our high-end patisserie – everyone keeps saying it looks like a proper French patisserie.
“We have brought French chic to North Wales!”
