A WOMAN from Conwy who was found guilty of assault has been ordered to pay in excess of £650.
Bethan Hughes, aged 48, of Maes Y Berllan, Melin Y Coed, Llanrwst, was accused of assaulting John Edwards by beating him in Conwy on October 17, 2021.
She was found guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on April 5, after pleading not guilty to the offence.

She was fined £180, and ordered to pay £200 in compensation and £300 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, to be paid as a lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made for deductions from her benefits.
