A POPULAR Llandudno nightclub has been taken over by a former rival business, with “big nights” planned for clubbers in the area.
Club One47 announced via Facebook that they had taken over Broadway Boulevard, located on Mostyn Broadway, and that there were immediate plans to put North Wales on the clubbing map.
The post read: “We are proud to announce, the One47 group has taken over Broadway Boulevard and we will work closely on putting the nightlife of North Wales back on the map!”
The club is currently open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with more nights set to open with summer approaching.
The listed building was originally the Grand Theatre, nationally famous in World War II as the popular radio show ITMA was broadcast from there.
The signage of the Grand Theatre can still be seen today.
