A MAN from Rhos-on-Sea was fined after he was caught speeding on the A55 in an Anglesey village last year.
Thomas Roberts, aged 75, of Rhyd Drive, was found to be exceeding a 70mph restriction on the road in Gaerwen on November 7, 2021.
Mr Roberts pleaded guilty to the offence on February 10.

At Mold Magistrates’ Court on March 18, he was fined £576, as well as being ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £57, and additional costs of £110.
This amounted to a total of £743, which he was given until April 18 to pay.
Mr Roberts also received six penalty points on his driving record.
