A NEW tool and fixings shop is set to open its doors in Conwy next week.

After months of planning, designing and building, the CRL Store, based on Conwy Morfa, will open to the general public on Monday, January 31.

Prior to this, there will be a ‘soft opening’ on Saturday, January 29, where attendees will include mayor of Conwy, Collette Ryan.

The store will be based within the Conwy headquarters of CRL Group, which was established in 1980 and is involved in building contracting, building hardware, tool and plant hire and more, at Unit 1A Tre Morfa Enterprise Park, Conwy Morfa, just off the A55.

Loren Taylor, service manager, said: “CRL Group has existed as a refrigeration and air conditioning company for the past 42 years.

“However, now we’ve got the room and facilities to expand, we have all been building, in the last few months, a fixing and tool store.

“We’ll also be offering plant and tool hire as well from the store, which opens itself next Monday.

“Our HQ offices are within this unit, and obviously now, the store is, and the plant and tool hire is ran from this same building.

“With Collette and marketing coming on Saturday, we just wanted to spread the word ahead of opening on Monday morning.”
