RESIDENTS turned out in their droves to enjoy a Christmas parade in Llandudno.
The parade travelled from the Station area along Vaughan Street, into Mostyn Street to Lloyd Street outside the Town Hall on December 4.
Making up the procession was the town crier, Father Christmas, the mayor and Mis Alice, Holy Trinity Church Nativity Float, City of Liverpool Pipes and Drums, Cindy Lou and the Grinch, Llandudno Silhouettes and Marvel Superhero characters to name a few.
There was also a vintage bus with carnival queens onboard.
Cllr Antony Bertola, chairman of Llandudno Town Council’s Christmas Parade Sub-Committee, said: “On behalf of the Town Council, I would like to thank the Town Council Staff, councillors, volunteers, the ERF team at Conwy CBC and all involved in putting such a fantastic parade together.
“Considering the circumstances we’ve all been through with restrictions and the weather, the Christmas Parade was a brilliant success.
“To see all the parents and children smiling throughout the parade simply made everything worthwhile.
“Thanks to all involved and who attended”.
Entertainment on the day [outside the town hall] included Llandudno Town Band; Llandudno Youth Music Theatre; Carol singing by Ysgol Ffordd Dyffryn; Reverend’s Christmas Message; Samba Band; Dinosaur and handler; LED juggling show; Superheros singing and Cindy Lou and the Grinch.
Last year the parade had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
