AFTER a free weekend RGC are back in action when they play Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday.
Last time out the Gogs ran Cardiff close, and it was similar when they took on Pontypridd. RGC will be looking to build some momentum and turn performances into points in the coming weeks.
Afon Bagshaw will be looking to "keep on improving" ahead of the resumption of the league season.
"We had a bit of a break with no game last week, and it gave us a bit of time to see where we are at performance-wise," he said.
"Results have not come, but the effort and improvement is clear. If a couple of things had swung in our favour past few games then the table would be different.
"That said we can't change anything, so the aim is to keep on improving and set ourselves up for when the league starts. It would be good to get some momentum and that starts on Saturday when we play Merthyr.
"Merthyr are always a tough team to play, and the reverse fixture was a tight one for most of the 80 minutes. We need to make sure we convert those games into wins.
"If we focus on the game management and getting the platform to play on point then we give ourselves a good chance to get the result."
After the match, Wales vs South Africa will be shown in the Halliwell Jones Fanzone.
Kick off is at 2.30pm at Parc Eirias on Saturday, November 6.
