A MAN in his sixties has sadly died after colliding with a bus.
Sadly, the man died after a collision on the A4086 between Pen-Y-Pass and Nant Peris.
North Wales Police are now investigating the fatal crash that involved a bus and the cyclist that has sadly resulted in the death of a 66-year-old man.
Police were informed of the crash at around 11.40am on Saturday morning (September 25).
Emergency services attended and, sadly, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident and was reopened at 6.20pm
Sergeant Raymond Williams from the Roads Policing Unit said: “I offer my profound sympathies to the family of the cyclist, who are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.
“We are currently investigating this incident as a fatal road traffic collision and ask that any witnesses, who have not already come forward, to contact the police with any information or dash cam footage.
“I would like to thank road users for your patience and understanding whilst the road was closed”.
