A PERSON suffered a seizure when camping with friends along the Wales Coast Path.
This was above Penmaenmawr on August 18.
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation, who attended, posted on Facebook on August 21: “Three local lads were camping along the coastal path when one of them suffered a seizure and his friends called for an ambulance.
“Due to the location of the group the ambulance service asked the team to attend. Locating the casualties proved difficult as the W3W [What3words] provided was not accurate and the casualties phones went straight to answerphone so Phone Find couldn’t be used. Fortunately, after speaking to some locals and the farmer, team members were able to find the group and start to administer first aid.
“Now with an accurate location a team vehicle was able to drive directly to site and extract the casualty and take him to Ysbyty Gwynedd [in Bangor] for further care.”
