The Denbighshire Art Society will be holding its annual summer exhibition for an eight-day period starting from the August bank holiday weekend.
The society, which formed in 1940, will open the display to the public from Saturday, August 28 until Sunday, September 5 at their base, The Studio, found at 10 Penrhos Road, Colwyn Bay (just by the town promenade).
Members’ artworks, including lockdown creations, will be available for the public to see and buy. Visitors will also be invited to make a choice of their favourite painting and ensure that their reopening exhibition is a great success.
The exhibition will be open daily between 11am and 4pm from August 28 to September 5.
Janet Roberts, exhibition organiser and member of the society, said: “There will be about 50 paintings of lots of North Wales landscapes and abstract work, from oil paintings to watercolours.
“Everybody’s delighted to have an exhibition to open, because there hasn’t been one for the last 18 months because of the lockdown, so this is going to be a nice celebration.
“It’s free for everybody to come and visit, and we’d be delighted if people come along and see what they’ve been doing.”
