POLICE in Conwy confiscated alcohol and drugs from a large group of youths breaking lockdown rules on Saturday night.
Officers took to social media to share the incident and reminded people that such behaviour will not be tolerated.
A spokesman for the West Conwy Coastal team of North Wales Police said: “Officers continue to patrol West Conwy Coastal extensively during the evenings targeting known ASB hotspots.
“Tonight [Saturday], in excess of 20 youths have been spoken to regarding ASB and COVID breaches. Numerous bags of alcohol and a few small amounts of cannabis have been seized.
“We understand that lockdown has been tough on people, however any COVID breaches or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
“We actively encourage anyone to report any issues that they have to 101 should they not be urgent or in case of emergency 999.”
