AS LEVELS of the coronavirus begin to fall across Wales, Public Health Wales can show exactly how different communities in Conwy compare.
The mapping feature was added to the daily update provided by health officials to present data broken down beyond the standard local authority areas, which does not show how individual communities compare.
The data is gathered using Office of National Statistics figures of middle layer super output areas (MSOAs) and present the rolling number of cases in either a seven-day or 21-day window.
Darker areas indicate higher concentrations of the virus whilst lighter areas show lower transmission rates.

The figures reveal that, during the latest seven-day period, the Abergele area has been recording the most new coronavirus reports with 23 cases and a rate of 211.6 cases per 100,000 people

• Betws-yn-Rhos, Llangernyw and Llansannan – Seven cases and rate of 100.7 cases per 100,000 people
• Colwyn Bay North – Six cases and rate of 96.7 cases per 100,000 people
• Conwy and Afon Row – Nine cases and rate of 126.1 cases per 100,000 people
• Kinmel Bay and Towyn – 16 cases and rate of 191.6 cases per 100,000 people
• Llandudno Junction North and Deganwy – 15 cases and rate of 156.0 cases per 100,000 people
• Llandudno Junction South and Llasanffraid – Three cases and rate of 40.9 cases per 100,000 people
• Llandudno South – 14 cases and rate of 199.9 cases per 100,000 people
• Llandudno Town and Gogarth – 11 cases and rate of 124.2 cases per 100,000 people
• Llanfairfechan and Penmawnmawr – 12 cases and rate of 153.8 cases per 100,000 people
• Llanrwst and Betws-y-coed – Six cases and rate of 69.8 cases per 100,000 people
• Old Colwyn and Llanddulas – Nine cases and rate of 104.0 cases per 100,000 people
• Penrhyn Bay – 11 cases and rate of 176.9 cases per 100,000 people
• Rhos-on-Sea – 11 cases and rate of 183.0 cases per 100,000 people
• Upper Colwyn Bay – 11 cases and rate of 145.0 cases per 100,000 people
