WHEN the Great Orme Golf Course reopened after the first lockdown it raised more than £750 for St David’s Hospice.
To show support for the hospice, the visitor attraction donated £1 from every family ticket purchased and 50p from other admissions, throughout June, July August and September.
The nine hole pitch and putt and footgolf course was enjoyed by many families and groups over the summer and help to raise a total of £767 towards local end-of-life care.
Gavin Wignall, owner of The Great Orme Golf Course said: “We very happy to support a charity in the local community that helps people in the area.”
Conwy area fundraiser for the Hospice James Wilde thanked Great Orme Golf Course and said: "I’ve been up to the Great Orme Golf Course for a game of footgolf and had a great time and spoken to others who’ve really enjoyed it.
“We rely on the support of our local community now more than ever and this is really appreciated.”
