AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a man who was found at a unit for people with drug and alcohol problems.
Paramedics called to Norfolk House Hotel in Princes Drive, Colwyn Bay, on July 10 found Roy Alan Parry, 49, unresponsive in his room, with a hypodermic needle nearby,
A post-mortem examination was carried out by Dr Muhammad Aslam who has sent samples away for toxicology tests.
After a brief hearing in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
