DRAMATIC images have come in of severe flooding in the centre of Llanrwst.
Assembly Member Janet Finch-Saunders has sent in these pictures.
The Conservative politician had recently raised the issue of flooding in the Welsh Assembly.
Mrs Finch Saunders, who represents Aberconwy, had discussed the Conwy Valley's flood risk in the Welsh Assembly, with a question tabled on January 23, 2020.
She asked the Welsh Minister for the Environment, Energy and Rural Lesley Griffiths:
"What steps are the Minister taking to hold an independent review of flood mitigation measures in the Conwy Valley?
The Minister's reply, answered on January 30, 2020, reads: "Natural Resources Wales reviewed the Conwy Valley Flood Alleviation Scheme in 2018.
"The review conformed communities in the Conwy Valley are benefitting from reduced flood risk as a result of the scheme at this time.
"There are no plans to carry out an further reviews."
Mrs Finch-Saunders says she will be asking an emergency question on the topic tomorrow (Monday.)
