THREE contenders to be the Conservative party Aberconwy Parliamentary candidate have been shortlisted.
The contenders are Robin Millar, James Bellis and Dan Boucher. The selection will be made on Thursday November 7.
Robin Millar, originally Bangor, is currently a Director of the British Veterinary Nursing Association, he and his wife Bonny have homes in Newmarket and near Bethesda. He is a civil engineer by profession, but has worked as a management consultant. He is a cllr for both Suffolk county council and West Suffolk council.
He fought as the Conservative candidate for the Arfon constituency in 2010.
James Bellis, aged 41, whose family is from Aberconwy, is an economist by profession and works as a director of a London based consultancy firm. He fought as the Conservative candidate in the South London constituency of Vauxhall in 2015, and in Rotherham in 2017. His father comes from Llanfairfechan and his mother from Penmaenmawr.
Dan Boucher was a Wales Conservative candidate in the European elections last May. He also stood for Swansea East in the Welsh Assembly elections in 2011. He works for a London based think tank.
