A SPECIAL meeting to brief members of Colwyn Bay town council on the impact the proposed Local Development Plan will have on the town.
The meeting will be held this evening when a Conwy County Borough Council planning official will outline the proposals.
Residents have already had the opportunity to see the proposals in the new plan at two public consultation events.
A spokesperson for the town council said: “The Bay of Colwyn Town Council will be briefed on the County Council’s preferred strategy for its Revised Local Development Plan, including any proposals affecting the Bay of Colwyn area, and will then be considering its response to the current consultation.
“Thought the town council meeting is open to members of the public, local residents have previously been invited to attend two public consultation events at the Interchange in Old Colwyn to view the key proposals and make their views known and the public consultation documents will also be available on the County Council’s website until 20th September. We have limited seating capacity and will only be able to allocate a short period for public participation during the Town Council meeting.”
