SPANDAU Ballet star Tony Hadley will perform at Venue Cymru as part of his 40th anniversary tour in 2022.
One of the most renowned voices in British music, Hadley first released chart-topping singles and albums with the former band including the epic Through the Barricades, international number one True and the unofficial London Olympics theme Gold.
From his beginnings at the forefront of the New Romantic movement, Hadley earned himself the accolade of being among 80’s pop’s greatest vocalists.
The tour, originally planned for 2020, will see him perform with new band The Fabulous TH during 36 dates across the UK.
Fitting for what will be a big celebration of one of the biggest voices in pop, Hadley will perform tracks from across his career both as the voice of Spandau Ballet and as a solo artist.
He he has performed across the world both with his band, swing bands, and orchestras.
In 2005 he was awarded a Gold Badge from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters; whilst 2007 saw him win a new legion of fans when he appeared as Billy Flynn in Chicago on the West End stage. The show takes place in Llandudno on March 11, 2022.
