A WOMAN was taken to hospital following an incident near Conwy Tunnel yesterday evening (January 15).
North Wales Police attended at about 7.25pm, on the eastbound side of the A55, before the Welsh Ambulance Service transferred her to hospital.
Police said the lady was “found to be suffering a medical episode” upon their arrival at the scene.
A North Wales Police spokesperson added: “The eastbound carriageway was closed for a short time, for the safety of people dealing with the incident.
“Police are thanking the public for their assistance, but do not need any further witnesses.”
Attempts have also been made to contact the Welsh Ambulance Service for further comment.
