TICKETS go on sale today (April 21) for RawFfest, the new youth arts festival, taking place in Llandudno this August.

This is the first year the event has taken place in North Wales. It will be set at Venue Cymru and other locations in Llandudno from August 17 to 20 this year.

RawFfest will bring the very best of theatre, music, art and film being created by young people today, from punk poetry to environmental art.

Rowen Kimpton, Youth Representative RawFfest Steering Group said: "The important thing about RawFfest is that it is for young people by young people. It is an explosion of art, circus, craft, dance, fashion, film, literature, photography, spoken word, and theatre.

"Young people are creating an amazing festival where workshops, performances and ‘happenings’ take place over four days. Grab your ticket now to stay over and take part in the festival!”

The Festival is for young people aged 14 to 25 years-old.

A Festival Weekend Pass is available for £50 with accommodation packages starting at £15 for the lucky first few purchasers. Day tickets are £20 and £10.
