A VAN suffered minor damage after catching fire on the A55.
Two fire engines were called to the blaze in a Ford Fiesta van in a layby on the A55.
The incident, which happened in the early hours of Tuesday, March 19, was dealt with by appliances from Colwyn Bay and Conwy.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “The incident on the westbound side of the A55 between Junctions 19 and 20 was dealt with promptly with only minor damage to engine compartment of the vehicle.
"As the vehicle was in a layby there were no delays to traffic.”
