Appeal for witnesses following a burglary and an attempted burglary in Old Colwyn

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary and an attempt burglary in the Old Colwyn area last Friday afternoon.

Items of jewellery, along with an iPhone and games console were stolen during the incidents which happened between 2pm and 4pm on Friday, March 10.

Two men have been arrested and charged with the burglaries. Josh Drabble and Danny Shacklady will be appearing before Llandudno Magistrates today.

Two others, who were arrested in connection with the incidents, have also been bailed pending further enquiries.

DC 2751 Chris Williams said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the Old Highway and Pen y Bryn Road areas in between 2pm and 4pm on Friday afternoon.”
