WORLD record-breaking Old Colwyn adventurer Ash Dykes has relaunched his brand in the lead up to his national tour.
Ash launched his campaign on Monday 27 which will see a brand new website, professional photographs and a new logo as well as teaser videos created and designed by JD-Designs, StandBy Productions and Mark Lucas.
The campaign comes ahead of Ash’s national tour with Speakers from the Edge, called Ash Dykes: Survivng Madagascar.
Ash broke the world record for traversing the Madagascan landscape solo and unsupported in just 155 days – becoming the first person in history to successfully walk the entire length of Madagascar from south to north, summiting its eight highest mountains on his way.
Ash said: “The past few weeks, I've had professional photographers, website and social media developers, brand designers and a production team working with me to sharpen up my brands image and help with it's direction, to have it standing alone as professional as it can be.
“I'm actually working with a fairly local company, who is designing my website. With my new re-branding, it will help everything move forward more swiftly and professionally, but also it means I'll be more easily identified and contactable. There is a big year ahead, although there has been many adventures and events going on.
”It certainly has been a lot of work, but it's all about the team and in all fairness, everyone has pulled together and it's been a true pleasure working with people who share the same enthusiasm and passion in their own respected line of work. The beginning of what I'm sure will be a long term working relationship.”
John Davies, of J-D.design said: "Working with someone as sharp and quick thinking as Ash Dykes on his new website and media production has made the project as impressive and successful as it could have been. I look forward to partnering with Ash and his team through 2017 and beyond".
Speaking of his tour Ash continued: “I really enjoy touring the UK and sharing stories of not only my experiences, but about these countries I travel to – the people, culture and insight to their way of life, but also the challenges and difficulties I faced a long the way.
“I hope my stories go on to inspire the audience and help them progress with what ever they do in life. There are a lot of real and intense stories that have people on the edge of their seat, Surviving Madagascar will be a great tour and I look forward to it.”
