MEMBERS of the public are invited to come and learn more about Dylan’s Restaurant’s development at the old Washington Hotel in Llandudno.
An event will be held in Venue Cymru at 6pm on Wednesday, February 15, where local residents and businesses can learn more about the restoration of the Washington building and the plans for the chain’s third restaurant.
Dylan’s will be opening in Llandudno in May this year and the refurbishment project has been progressing well since the company secured the site back in November.
Director David Evans said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the response we had since announcing our expansion into Conwy county, and are very excited to be bringing the Dylan’s dining experience to Llandudno.
“The Washington is a landmark building and holds a special place in the hearts of many. We’re proud to be bringing it back to life, sensitively restoring it to its former glory.
“We’re very keen to keep the local community informed about the restoration. The event on the 15th is a great opportunity for anyone interested in our plans for Llandudno to come and learn more and ask any questions they may have.”
The new Dylan’s Restaurant in Llandudno will be have 220 covers over two floors, with a cocktail bar on the first floor beneath the iconic dome feature.
The £1.5m development will create around 40 new jobs in the first year, bringing the total number of staff across the business to 180.
