A car fire in the Shell Petrol Station on the A55 near Penmaenmawr brought traffic to a brief stand still.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called at about 1pm to a vehicle fire at the petrol station off the A55, with one Llandudno crew attending.
The crew used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control. The fire was under control by about 1.40pm.
Wales traffic officers also attended the scene to manage traffic.
The North and Mid Wales Traffic group, on Twitter, said: "North Wales Fire and Rescue's rapid response prevented any serious injuries, and traffic management from traffic officers got the traffic moving in less than 30 minutes."
Traffic has now returned to normal on the A55.
